Standard SKUs for goods that records stock and virtual SKUs for services
SKU configuration options
SKUs / cards do have multiple optional attributes and settings:
- basic attributes (SKU code, name, VAT, alternative code)
- data about manufacturer (manufacturer and his SKU code) and supplier (supplier and his SKU code)
- SKU visibility - when using multiple warehouses / retail stores, SKUs can be managed centrally but visibilities at particular stores can differ
- unit of measure - basic with possibility to set alternative unit of measure and its calculation to basic
- ordering data
- translations to foreign languages (in case of foreign business partners)
- EAN / barcodes records - possibility to record multiple EANs for a single SKU
- fees (recycling, audiovisual, ...)
- partner attributes (supplier SKUs, EANs)
- categories of material
- attachments - possibility to attach picture or other documentation to goods. Pictures can be displayed in SKU detail or by selliing when using in Easysell editor
- SKU compatibility - possibility to set accessories for goods
- reporting and rentability calculation
Of course, it is possible to manage SKUs by batch imports from Excel file and to export all data from the system.
Product records – standard item cards
Accurate tracking of inventory items is a key pillar for maintaining order in warehouse management.
In addition to general attributes, standard product inventory cards can also include:
- Serial number tracking – when this option is enabled on an item card, entering the product’s serial number (e.g., IMEI) is required for each movement. This allows tracking the movement and current location of each individual unit.
- Information on packaging, dimensions, and weight

- Automatic packaging – when a defined number of units is added, the corresponding number of packaging units (e.g., bottle, crate, pallet) is automatically included. Supports tracking of refundable/returnable packaging.
Virtual items
Virtual inventory items are primarily used for selling services and labor. Due to their nature, they don’t track stock levels and can be delivered without quantity restrictions.
This type of item can be used, for example, for service invoicing, repairs, installation work, or other items that are not tracked in inventory.
