E-shop API
It’s also possible to connect multiple e-shops to the Katana system simultaneously. Communication with each e-shop is handled via dedicated REST API interfaces.
The following data exchanges are supported:
- catalog synchronization:
- partners (customers)
- SKUs
- prices
- Information about the current stock levels online,
- automatic order creation z e-shopu priamo v systéme Katana,
- generation / printing of issued documents for the customer (e.g. delivery note, invoice, acceptance protocol)
- Katana notifies e-shop:
- o about stock level changes skladu
- o new item creation - SKU
It is possible to integrate any e-shop with Katana – the only requirement is to implement Katana API calls. We have had good experience, for example, with esoul s.r.o., with whom we already have several implementations running in production.
EDI communication
EDI communication represents a key pillar for process automation and online document exchange with business partners.
The Katana system, in cooperation with the EDI provider GRiT SK, s.r.o., supports the exchange of the following most commonly used message types:
- Ordering system – ORDERS message – upon receipt of this message, an order is created that can be processed and the goods dispatched. There is no need to manually re-enter orders from email or fax.
- Delivery notes – DESADV message – this is a delivery advice, providing information about goods prepared for shipment to the customer.
- Invoices - INVOIC message - is used to send issued invoices to customers
